years to biodegrade. The fact is, very little biodegradation occurs in a landfill.
Healthy Oceans bags are designed to completely biodegrade in a landfill environment.
Our package is made from renewable biodegradable cellulose found in trees, water-based
inks and adhesives, biodegradable polyethylene film and biodegradable zipper. The
first of its kind in the seafood industry!

AQUACULTURE IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
Working with our partners, we have been able to address additional environmental considerations
in bringing Healthy Oceans shrimp to the marketplace. A team of scientists recently visited the
producer of Healthy Oceans shrimp and compiled an assessment report which highlights their commitment to:
